Current events, The Omnibus Law rant

Hello everyone, this is my first rant about the Omnibus Law and the reaction of the people.

i can't believe people in Indonesia can be so f&cking stupid. So the to sum what is Omnibus Law. Basically is a new law that regulate and control the people's wage, investors, and all kind of business and it's over 900 pages and i know i will not read it.

But there are a few controversies and the people's reaction are over the top stoopid. Yes, the law may allow workers to work more hours, and get paid hourly, yes it allow foreign investor to invest in our country easily, yes company may extend the contract of a worker. Not to mention a certain law that may cause company to be more lazy about the environment safety standard.

People would do a protest against the law. Almost all over Indonesia. People are burning public transport and causing traffic jam and other property damage as well as anarchy.

The stupidity is incomprehensible. They are protesting also because if they are terminated, the company doesn't have to pay for their wage or pesangon. But they are the very reason that the company don't want to give more incentive as they complain, and protesting are not balanced with their productivity. Making Indonesia not attractive to foreign investors but another reason is Indonesia having complicated islamic syariah laws and corrupted chain of command. back to the protester, causing a lot of property damage that cost billions of rupiah then they complain about government doesn't take care of them. Even Government did a program called a Pre-Work Card that allows people with no skills trained for free so they can work. even in the suburbs and villages, this program is available for them. But they are complaining about the government doesn't help them enough. I'm sick of locals. On the other hand. there are also police brutality against the protester. Now, i think it would be fair for police to hit them back as they are also human. These protesters even called names, assault the police, use violence against the police. in return the police use a bit of force such as throwing tear gas and pushing the mass. But they say "Police Brutality". I can go on and on but for this rant, i will put it right here.

-P.S this is my opinion and rant, i got my source from various news channel. i don't intend to make things worse than it already is. I'm just tired seeing violence and stupid people both in the country and in Indonesian Government.
