Week 9, SEM, Facebook Page and etc!

Hello, Good day everyone. It's good to see you again. The topic for today is SEM,search engine marketing and, Facebook page and SEO. First off, SEO is very important in digital marketing.

Why is that ?

it enable you to increase and see the traffic of your website and page !!!. while SEM is the action of using SEO,

SEO can be divided into two categories : white hat and black hat. Almost the same as hacking but in this case, black hat SEO means that people promote their page using

Hidden content such as:

• Comment tags

• Small font / White text on white

background

• Meta keyword stuffing

• Meta description or meta keywords

• Doorway pages (cloaking) – redirection

• Link farming

where as white hat SEO

use a more legal and open approach for example :

Quality content!

• Appropriate use of titles and meta

data

• Keyword research

• Use keywords across all elements of

your pages

• Quality inbound links (e.g. to your

social media sites)

I've tried to enable SEO before in this website to get more traffic but i need to pay for it and i didn't, so i use the organic SEO where i tried using hashtags,key words, and relatable content to increase my website traffic so i become more easier to find. But nowadays people seldomly click on website that seems unimportant for them because they clicked more on social media ads rather than SEO ads.

So i used Facebook instead

Believe it or not, i've used Facebook ads before in my other page that sell properties. (different than the account i posted in the social media section). and it get WAY more traffic than my regular post. Although it increased the traffic to my Facebook page, still less people are interested in buying properties (maybe because of CoVid-19.

Not to forget Google analytics in Facebook ads enable you to see which post is more popular to a certain type of audience making your life easier to analyze your potential customer and sell you product.
